Public Servant
COMMITTED to Public Education

I’m a proud product of the El Monte Union High School District and a firm believer in the power of education. I graduated from Mountain View High School and earned a degree in history from Cal Poly Pomona. I worked in our school district and now have the privilege of serving our students and families as President of the El Monte Union High School District Board of Trustees.

My journey has always been grounded in service. I have spent much of my life giving back to the schools and community that shaped me: I have worked in education and county government, volunteered with community organizations, helped raise scholarships for our students, and dedicated years to advocating for families who deserve a strong voice in the decisions that affect them.

I bring years of experience in public service, education, community advocacy, and local leadership, and, just as importantly, a deep connection to our community. Everything I do is rooted in a simple belief: when our community invests in our students, provides them with opportunities, and works together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.
